Caregiver Connector Program - Cherryville
Caregiver Support
Provided by Cherryville Community Food & Resource Society
- Direct Support: Caregivers meet with the connector on a one to one basis and receive confidential support. This offers caregivers an opportunity to connect and share their feelings while receiving helpful information and resources.
- Support Groups: Provides an opportunity for caregivers in similar situations to connect and share their experiences and feelings. These facilitated meetings allow caregivers to share strategies and information about helpful resources.
Additional services may also include:
- Healthcare system navigation support
- Social and self-care events
- Information and referrals to community support and services
- Education to enhance knowledge and skills
To get started with the caregivers connector program, first obtain caregiver's permission, then call the office to provide contact information for the caregiver.
